After completing Year Out Drama, Sophie successfully auditioned to join The Comeback Company, a small ensemble made up of YOD alumni. It was with this company that Sophie discovered her passion for costume design and manufacture. We still talk of her nuns habit to this day!
The following year, Sophie successfully interviewed for a prestigious apprenticeship in Costume Production at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.
Sophie is now a freelance costume maker for stage and screen. However, when she is not making headdresses for the ensemble of Disney’s Aladdin in the West End, she is focusing on her own brand new business ‘Unveiled by Sophie’.
