In August 2016, Lisa Spirling was appointed Artistic Director at the prestigious Theatre503 in South London. Previously Lisa was the Artistic Coordinator of the JMK Trust’s Regional Directors Program and Associate Director at Theatre503. She was also the Education Project Manager for the National Theatre’s ground breaking Art of Regeneration program.
In October of this year, Lisa will direct the winner of the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award, In Event of Moone Disaster by Andrew Thompson. Lisa was in the same YOD year as actor Sandy Grierson, recently appearing as Faustus/Mephistophilis at the RST and Claire Birch, currently Assistant Producer with the RSC.
